In November 2021, we came across the Future Foods Company and got in touch with Skye Raward to find out how they had worked with First Nations native food businesses. After a great chat, we were invited to apply for the Farmers 2 Founders upcoming accelerator program.
Within a couple weeks we were selected to join the Harvest Program alongside 16 other food and agriculture enterprises. Five of these are First Nations-led.
We completed the first phase in 2021 which focused on the foundational pillars of startup enterprises. Now we're in phase two focusing on the transformational pillars that help startups scale up.
So far the program has been great with a knowledgeable and encouraging team of coaches and well thought out and rich content.
