Native Foodways is growing fast and we need passionate and reliable people to join us to change the native food system. Together, we're making sure First Nations people participate in, benefit from, and lead the native food system.

Native Foodways runs native plant nurseries, native food farms, native food bakeries, and native food pop-ups, stalls, and shops.

In December 2023, we're launching the first Native Foodways Retail Shop on Gadigal Country in Sydney's CBD. Alongside this, we'll continue to have a stall at the Carriageworks Farmers Markets every Saturday in Redfern.

In September 2023, we're also starting to train our team of First Nations Chefs, Cooks, Kitchen Hands, and Baristas in order to be able to launch our first Native Foodways Bakery in October 2023.

Right now we need:

Between January and March 2023 you will work with our Director of Native Foods and Kitchens, Corey Grech, at our training facility in Western Sydney. If successful, you will then move into part-time or full-time work in April or May 2023 when our Eatery launches in the CBD. It's a way to support genuine self-determination. We are an impact-first social enterprise. All our revenue is currently reinvested into the growth of the enterprise and we make no profits.
