Cristilee Houghton

Cristilee Houghton is a proud Pitta Pitta woman who was raised in Meanjin (Brisbane).

Cristilee is currently the Head of Indigenous Affairs at Coles (the largest employer of Indigenous people in Australia). She is also an Indigenous advisor to Google and Australian Unity and a Director of the Darwin Hotel Partnership for the Adina Vibe Hotel. Prior to this, she was the Lifelong Lead at the Atlantic Fellows for Social Equity (AFSE) and she worked with organisations such as Indigenous Business Australia (IBA), Virgin Australia, Screen Australia, and the Department of Communities.

A self-starter and experienced leader always looking for a challenge, Cristilee’s curiosity of all things social has led her to develop strengths in strategy, project management, social impact, employment and mentoring. Her career has focused on working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people and communities in the not-for-profit, private, and government sectors. 

Cristilee is passionate about cooking with native foods and coming up with new culturally inspired recipes.
